September MaxTo update

MaxTo 2009.09 was released today. The update has a few new features that you will probably discover yourself, but we’re writing about them anyhow because we think they are kinda cool.

When you have “maxtomized” (pretend that is a real word) a window, and try moving it using the mouse, its original size will be restored as you drag.

You can now also switch very quickly between windows within the region you are working, sort of like how Alt+Tab works. Pressing Alt+Control+PageUp will switch to the next window, and Alt+Control+PageDown will switch to the previous. Of course, these shortcut keys are customizable if you don’t like them.

There is now also a ignore system, that allows you to stop certain windows by their window class from being movable using the shortcut keys. This is defined using the Ignore.xml file in the MaxTo folder. There are a few entries in there for now, feel free to add your own and send them to us.
